Buying a homecoming dress over the internet is always a crap shoot, but I had good luck with this one. The dress came in on time as promised, which was great, as it was promised only a week before the dance. It looked exactly as pictured, and the fit was spot-on, according to the measurements. Don’t expect it to fit according to American sizing, as it is made in Asia, where sizing is smaller. Use the sizing chart and order according to your measurements and you won’t be disappointed. Of course, the dress will be stuffed in a bag and shipped overseas, and it’ll require pressing, but under the circumstances, it really was in remarkable condition. The fabric was mostly unwrinkled, but the pleated bodice and the box pleats in the skirt needed to be pressed down. One thing to note: the back of the dress has no zipper. The lace up feature ONLY laces, so you can truely customize the fit, but it does take forever to get on. Don’t wait until the last minute to get ready. Expect to take some time getting into this dress.
