Very cute dress - my daughter is 6 and what I would consider a average sized 6 years old - skinny and tall - and I bought her a size 4 and it was perfect. So I would say that for a average kid you should size down - my other daughter who is also 6 got a size 4 in her flower girl dress too so thinking maybe that's just the fit of flower girl dresses. Cute dress though and will be perfect for the wedding!Beautiful dress! My daughter complained that the seam at the waist was really itchy so she had to wear a shirt under it but other than that it was exactly what I wanted. One thing to note: it must be hand washed. Not surprising for a dress like this but still good to know when you're buying it for a child. We got the mint color.My daughter looks awesome in it. She's a petite person, so all clothing is a little big on her. I bought this as a dress to wear to a wedding.Very pretty. Immediately removed the flower - ugh. Good quality, would have loved this in an ivory color but it wasn't available.Had to order an 8 they only come in even sizes. Needed a size 7 so it was a little large around the arm holes but other than that it fits well.This is a beautiful dress! The size was perfect. I would recommend this dress for a wedding or any special occasion.Used these for my flower girl dresses for my wedding. Perfect!!!! They looked so stinking cute. Cute enough for little girls (5 to 6) and not too "little girl" for my older niece (9 years ) they were perfect!! $Loved this dress, it was just too large. There was the right amount of "poof" with this dress, it was cute and would have been perfect for my wedding.
