I bought this as a gift to go with a jacket for our granddaughter's 2nd birthday (March 2014). The jacket didn't have a hood and I felt she should have something to cover her ears when it was cool or windy. I didn't know for sure if she already had a hat that would match the jacket we bought her (a lilac colored soft fleece). I was thrilled when I came across this hat. It was perfect. White goes with anything! The big flower on the side is adorable. It is a nice lightweight material and seems to be good quality (though it has not been washed yet). We are just heading into Spring weather and this will be perfect. It will also get her through fall. If you are thinking about buying this for winter months, you may want to keep in mind that this is lightweight. It would be fine for going in and out of buildings and the car, but for outside playtime you would probably want to go with something warmer. Little Rosalie came for a visit last weekend and she was wearing her new hat from grandma & grandpa. Absolutely adorable!
